  1. Hi, my name is Robert Carroll Hickcox and I am a descendant of Larkin Sandidge and Almira Hocker, married 1834. I read your blog with great interest and can offer you some additional research. I have Larkin and Almira's family bible, brought north after the war by two of their daughters, Patience Elizabeth, born 1845 and Leanti, born 1845. I can offer you scanned images of the family pages, showing dates of birth, marriage and death, along with an account of Jeremiah Sandidge and Sallie Yeager's wedding, and pictures of many family members.
